Invisalign is the ground-breaking brace that’s responsible for straightening over 8 million smiles. Invisalign started in America and quickly became popular because it had very little effect on a person's appearance , which as you can imagine was popular amongst those in the spotlight in Hollywood!
How does Invisalign work?
Invisalign uses a series of removable aligners to gradually and gently move your teeth into the desired position. The aligners are completely transparent, so they’re really inconspicuous – even up close.
Using the latest in 3D technology, Paul will take a precise 3D scan of your teeth and from this will be able to map out a bespoke treatment plan just for you. You will be able to see just how Invisalign will transform your smile before you have even started the treatment!
Each aligner should be worn for two weeks, before you move onto the next one in the series: gradually moving your teeth little-by-little until they reach their final position. Along the way we’ll keep a close eye on your progress to make sure everything is moving correctly and in the right direction.
For the best results it’s important to wear your aligners for between 20 and 22 hours a day – just take them out for eating, drinking, playing contact sport and to brush and floss your teeth. Luckily for you, this means you can continue to enjoy all your favourite foods throughout your treatment, as well as keep on top of your oral hygiene routine: ensuring a healthy, beautiful end result

Frequently asked questions
Does it hurt?
Naturally there is a little bit of tenderness when you start with each new aligner, but don’t worry as this is just an indication that invisalign is doing it’s job and moving your teeth! Invisalign uses ‘ transparent polycrystalline alumina’, which is a clear smooth material , designed by NASA with comfort in mind.
How discrete are the aligners?
The aligners are very inconspicuous. They aren’t totally invisible but they shouldn’t affect your speech so you will be able to have normal conversations with family and friends.
Is invisalign suitable for everyone?
Braces aren't suitable for everyone but we can use invisalign to straighten the majority of mild to moderate cases. We will tell you during your initial FREE consultation if it’s the right treatment for you.
How long do I need to wear my aligners?
You need to wear your aligners for around 20 to 22 hours a day, but you can take them out for eating, drinking, contact sports, brushing and flossing!
